Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting enthusiastic Primary Teachers to join our supply team, working across a number of Primary Schools throughout Stockport. We offer flexible working, allowing you to choose days that suit you, with progression opportunities and continuity wherever possible.

We pay weekly at competitive daily rates (£140-£200 per day, depending on experience) and aim to place teachers in regular schools to build relationships with pupils and staff while maintaining work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Holds QTS and UK primary teaching experience.
• Able to deliver engaging lessons across primary year groups.
• Demonstrates strong behaviour management and classroom practice.
• Understands the Primary National Curriculum.
• Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

Unlike traditional day-to-day supply, we work closely with our partner schools to provide continuity wherever possible. We aim to place our teachers in the same schools regularly, allowing you to build relationships with pupils and staff while becoming a familiar and valued member of the school community.

We are looking for teachers who:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Have experience teaching within UK Primary Schools (including placements for ECTs).
• Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Deliver engaging lessons that inspire and motivate learners.
• Demonstrate strong behaviour management and classroom practice.
• Have a good understanding of the Primary National Curriculum.
