Job summary

The Palladian Academy Trust is seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children with Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) across its primary schools. You will help children access learning, participate in school life and reach their potential, under the guidance of teachers, SENDCos, SLTs and our SLHLTA.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Mathematics (Grade C/4 or above) or equivalent
• Teaching Assistant Level 2 or 3 qualification, or relevant experience
• Experience working with primary-aged children
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• A patient, nurturing and flexible approach

Responsibilities

• Support children to access learning across primary schools
• Help children participate fully in school life and reach their potential
• Deliver targeted interventions with the Palladian School Improvement Team
• Collaborate with teachers, SENDCos, Speech and Language Therapists and our HLTA
