Job summary

The University of Chichester Academy Trust is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to join our schools. You will support learning and promote independence, including speech and language, physical and mental well-being under the direction of the class teacher and/or SENCO.

You will work one-to-one or with small groups across a range of activities, preparing resources and upholding positive behaviour. The role sits within a warm, inclusive Trust community that values every learner and supports

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learning in a primary setting.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with children, carers and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in the classroom under guidance of the class teacher/SENCO.
• Provide 1-to-1 or small group support across activities.
• Promote positive behaviour and pupil well-being.
