Job summary

Prospero Teaching is recruiting a SEND Primary Teacher for a September start in a partner school that supports children with SEND, including autism and SEMH. The role involves creating differentiated lessons and collaborating with specialists to meet individual needs.

You will work with teaching assistants and SENCOs to implement EHCP targets and personalised learning plans, helping pupils progress while fostering a positive, inclusive classroom culture.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with children with SEND, ideally in a primary setting.
  • Strong understanding of autism, sensory processing and behaviour management strategies.
  • Excellent communication, empathy and resilience.
  • Team player with a commitment to inclusive education.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Primary Teacher to join one of our partnered schools that caters to children with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), including autism, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
