Protocol Education is recruiting a SEND Support Worker for schools in Barnsley. You will support pupils with additional needs, assist with learning activities, and provide personal care where required, helping pupils thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Working with teachers and the wider support team, you’ll foster an inclusive, safe environment where pupils feel confident to be themselves. The role is ongoing with weekly PAYE pay and full safeguarding checks.

We’re working with welcoming schools in Barnsley who are looking for dedicated SEND Support Workers to support pupils with additional needs and help them thrive, both in and out of the classroom.
As a SEND Support Worker, you’ll play a key part in a pupil’s day-to-day learning and development. You’ll support students with their learning activities, provide personal care where required, and encourage independence every step of the way. No two days are the same, but every day is meaningful.
You’ll work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider support teams to create an inclusive, supportive environment where pupils feel safe, understood, and confident to be themselves.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
