Job summary

Ark Victoria Academy in Birmingham is seeking a Primary One-to-One SEND Support Assistant to support two young students with an EHCP. You will work under the SENCo and deputy headteacher to ensure successful inclusion into mainstream schooling and maximise learning opportunities.

The successful candidate will share high expectations, inspire and motivate pupils, and work well in a team. A love of reading and a positive attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Role requires empathy, passion and high expectations for pupils.
• Ability to work with two students with an EHCP and support mainstream inclusion.
• Team player with positive attitude and love of reading.

Responsibilities

• Support two Year 2 and Year 4 pupils with an EHCP under SENCo and deputy headteacher.
• Plan and deliver inclusive learning activities to maximise opportunities.
• Assist pupil inclusion into mainstream lessons.
