Job summary

Clarence Recruitment is seeking a passionate Primary School Teaching Assistant to support pupils in Lincoln. This part-time role offers a rewarding opportunity to help children learn, grow, and thrive within a welcoming and inclusive school environment.

You will work closely with class teachers to support learning across the primary age range, including small-group activities, resource preparation, and monitoring progress.

Qualifications

• GCSEs English and Maths (4/C or above) required.
• Enthusiastic, patient and committed to supporting children's learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning in the classroom through engaging activities.
• Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Assist children with varying learning needs to access the curriculum.
• Encourage positive behaviour and help create an inclusive classroom environment.
• Prepare learning resources and support classroom organisation.
• Monitor pupils' progress and share observations with staff.
• Promote pupils' wellbeing, independence and enjoyment of learning.
