Job summary

Academics Ltd is seeking Teaching Assistants to support local primary schools in Maidstone and surrounding areas. You will assist teachers, support pupils one-to-one or in small groups, and help develop confidence and learning skills across Early Years to Year 6.

The role requires a flexible, patient approach and a willingness to work across all primary year groups. DBS checks are required or to be pursued, and a Level 3 qualification is preferred. Driving licence is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Willingness to obtain a DBS certificate if not already held.
• Level 3 childcare/education qualification preferred.
• Full-time availability across Maidstone and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson delivery.
• Provide one-to-one or small-group pupil support.
• Help children develop confidence, independence and learning skills.
• Support positive behaviour and an inclusive classroom environment.
• Adapt to needs of different age groups and abilities.
