Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is seeking Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Swadlincote, Newhall, Woodville, Midway and the wider DE11 area. Roles include day-to-day cover, short-term placements, and longer-term assignments across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Swadlincote, Newhall, Woodville, Midway & Surrounding Areas (DE11)

£450-£500 per week | PAYE | Paid weekly

Connex Education is recruiting Supply Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Swadlincote, Newhall, Woodville, Midway and the wider DE11 area.

We are keen to speak with Teaching Assistants who have recent experience working with children and are looking for flexible or regular work throughout the autumn term.

Schools across the area require support for a range of assignments, including day-to-day cover, short-term placements and longer-term roles. Opportunities are available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Whether you are looking for consistent work each week or want the flexibility to choose the days you are available, we can look at assignments that suit you.

About the Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils and class teachers throughout the school day.

This could include:

• Supporting pupils one-to-one and in small groups.
• Helping children with classroom activities and learning tasks.
• Working alongside the class teacher to support lessons.
• Encouraging pupils to remain engaged and confident in their learning.
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Working with pupils who may require additional learning or behavioural support.
