Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking qualified Primary Cover Teachers to work across Wakefield and surrounding areas. We offer day-to-day and ongoing placements with schools in the region.

You will hold QTS, have at least six months of teaching experience, and be able to follow existing planning while maintaining high standards of behaviour and safeguarding.

Calling all qualified Primary Teachers!

We re looking for experienced and adaptable Primary Cover Teachers to work with schools across Wakefield and the surrounding area.

We have opportunities available for teachers seeking flexible day‑to‑day work as well as those interested in more consistent placements.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

• At least 6 months' teaching experience

• Strong classroom management skills

• Ability to deliver engaging lessons and follow existing planning

• A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and safeguarding

• DBS registered on the Update Service preferred

If your DBS isn't currently registered on the Update Service, we can support you with getting the appropriate DBS in place.
