Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Primary Teacher to cover KS1 at a Gravesend-based school. You will plan engaging lessons, support pupils with SEND and manage behaviours while adapting methods to meet individual needs.

The role is long-term and requires a capable, flexible educator with QTS and KS1 experience.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a growing Primary School based in Gravesend, who are looking to appoint a Primary Teacher. The school places fun, inclusive learning at the core of its ethos and is committed to creating an engaging environment where every pupil is supported to learn and develop.

The school is looking to take on an experienced Primary Teacher on a long-term basis, supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1. The successful Primary Teacher will be responsible for planning engaging lessons, supporting pupils with SEND, managing challenging behaviours and adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of pupils.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 1 / KS1
• Experience supporting children with SEND
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The ability to plan engaging and inclusive lessons
• A flexible and adaptable approach to teaching
