Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Medway primary school to appoint a Part-time Primary Teacher on a long-term basis. You will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 1 (KS1) and occasionally KS2, supporting an inclusive learning environment and developing pupils' confidence and love of learning.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (ECTs welcome), bring strong classroom and behaviour management, and work with colleagues to differentiate for pupils of varied abilities and backgrounds.

Qualifications

• QTS is required for UK primary teaching roles.
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school across KS1; KS2 experience preferred.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to KS1 pupils.
• Maintain strong classroom management and pupil engagement.
• Support pupils with diverse abilities and backgrounds and differentiate as needed.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Teacher on a part-time, long-term basis, working mainly with pupils across Key Stage 1 / KS1 with some teaching across Key Stage 2 / KS2 when required. The successful Primary Teacher will be expected to deliver engaging lessons, maintain strong classroom management and support pupils with a range of abilities and backgrounds.

The successful Primary Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience teaching within a UK primary school
• Experience teaching across Key Stage 1 / KS1, with confidence supporting Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management
• A strong commitment to inclusive education
• A positive and passionate approach to supporting pupil development
