Job summary

The Supply Register Ltd is partnering with Wade Deacon Trust to recruit a Year 2 Class Teacher for a short-term position in a Halewood primary school. The role begins in September 2026 and is initially for one month, with potential extension for the right candidate.

You will deliver high-quality, inclusive lessons, monitor progress and work with colleagues to support pupils to reach their full potential in a positive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Experience in primary education, ideally Key Stage 1.
• Strong knowledge of Year 2 curriculum.

The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with Wade Deacon Trust and are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a short-term position at one of their primary schools in Halewood.

The role is initially for one month, starting in September 2026, with the possibility of the position being extended for the right candidate.

We are looking for a passionate teacher who can provide high-quality teaching and learning, create a positive classroom environment and support pupils to achieve their full potential.

The Role

The successful teacher will:

• Has experience teaching within a primary school setting, ideally in Key Stage 1.
• Has strong knowledge of the Year 2 curriculum.
• Is confident, organised and adaptable.
• Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Has a passion for helping children achieve their full potential.
• Can provide professional references and meet all necessary safeguarding requirements.
