Qualifications

Job description

Primary School Teacher | Hampshire | £150 to £223 per day

CER are looking to add to our team of Primary School Teachers to fulfil temporary positions within our partnership schools across the Southampton area. As a temporary Primary School Teacher, you will have the opportunity to inspire and engage students across Early Years and Key Stages 1 and 2. This is an exciting opportunity to work across a wide variety of schools, gaining valuable experience or trying new settings to find your dream job. You will be contributing to our supportive and inclusive school community and making a positive impact on the lives of the students.

We are also keen to speak to ECTs (Early Career Teachers) who are looking to kick start their careers. We have a number of exciting opportunities available, with full support to help you transition into the classroom for 2025.

We are particularly looking to recruit in the following locations for our partnership schools; Southampton, Eastleigh and Winchester

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Early Years, KS1 and KS2 that are in line with the national curriculum and cater to the needs of all students
  • Strong behaviour management and maintain high standards in line with school policies
  • Adapt to different school environments showing a flexibility and resilience
  • Utilise a variety of teaching methods and resources to facilitate active learning and promote student engagement
  • Assess student progress and provide timely feedback to support their academic development
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the English curriculum

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)or equivalent teaching qualification
  • Previous experience teaching in a UK based school is essential for this role and references will need to be submitted
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
