Job Description:

Leader Education is recruiting a Primary School Teacher to work in a Mainstream Primary School based in Newcastle. This role involves teaching a variety of subjects to children from Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. The successful teacher will have QTS, experience working with children who may have SEND, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and levels.

The standard working hours for this long-term position are Monday to Friday from 8:30 to 15:30.

Requirements for the Role:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or a willingness to obtain one
• Ability to deliver lessons across a range of subjects to students with varying behavioural and learning needs
• Skill in planning, delivering, and assessing tailored lessons that meet individual student needs
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with teaching assistants and other professionals, ensuring a holistic support system for students
• Ability to maintain regular communication with parents and guardians, providing updates on student progress
• Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for supporting students with SEMH needs
