Job summary

Aspire People is seeking caring Learning Support Assistants to work in UK primary schools. You don't need a formal TA qualification; transferable experience with children is welcomed. You'll support pupils in class, provide 1:1 and small group help, and assist with SEND needs, under the guidance of teachers.

Ideal candidates are patient, reliable and good communicators who can build positive relationships with pupils and staff, helping every child reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in classroom or child-focused settings.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Passion for supporting learning and child development.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom and during learning activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support where needed.
• Help children build confidence and independence.
• Support pupils with SEND and additional learning needs where appropriate.
• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement.
• Work closely with teachers and wider school staff.
