Job summary

Aspire People is seeking an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant for primary schools across the UK. The role offers full-time and part-time positions with supportive classrooms to help pupils progress.

You will deliver whole-class and small-group support, run reading, phonics, maths and English interventions, and assist with resources. A recent UK primary school background and knowledge of the National Curriculum are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Recent UK primary school experience.
• Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
• Previous intervention experience.
• Patient, reliable, and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting whole-class learning.
• Providing 1:1 and small-group support.
• Delivering reading, phonics, Maths, and English interventions.
• Supporting pupils with SEND where required.
• Helping teachers prepare resources and learning activities.
• Supporting positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Encouraging pupil confidence and independence.
