Balfour Beatty Power T&D in Leeds is seeking a Primary Plant Design Engineer to engineer HV primary designs for electrical substations up to 400kV. The role encompasses planning, procurement and delivery for substation projects.
You will design to standards, prepare drawings, and contribute to installation and commissioning packages, coordinating with teams to meet project schedules. Hybrid working with a comprehensive benefits package is provided.
Balfour Beatty Power T&D are currently recruiting a Primary Plant Design Engineer to work within Substation Design. This role will be based in our Leeds office.
The main function of the role is to engineer the HV Primary Engineering designs for electrical substation projects up to a voltage of 400kV.
The role also includes the General, Planning and Procurement responsibilities as detailed below for delivery of substation projects.
