Oasis Community Learning in partnership with Oasis Academy Hadley is seeking a caring and reliable After School Club Support Assistant to work 15.45 to 18.00 during term time. You will support the After School Club Leader, supervise pupils, promote positive behaviour and contribute to a safe, engaging environment.

The role emphasizes safeguarding, promoting independence and confidence while providing high-quality pastoral care for children after the school day.

• Ability to work with children and support safeguarding.
• Experience in after-school settings desirable but not required.

POST: Primary Phase After School Club Assistant

RESPONSIBLE TO: The Principal, Deputy Principal Primary, under the day-to-day management and leadership of the Primary Phase After School Club Leader

HOURLY RATE: £15.00 per hour

KEY RELATIONSHIPS: Academy Leadership Team; relevant teaching and support staff; Oasis Community Learning; LA representatives; partner professionals; parents; local community; other Oasis Academies.

LOCATION: Oasis Academy Hadley

WORKING PATTERN: 15.45 to 18.00 term time

JOB PURPOSE: To support the children and Primary Phase After School Club Leader in providing a stimulating, inclusive, safe learning environment for students in After School care.

We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and reliable After School Club Support Assistant to help provide a safe, engaging, and enjoyable environment for children after the school day. The role involves supporting the After School Club Leader, supervising pupils, promoting positive behaviour, encouraging independence and confidence, and ensuring high standards of safeguarding and pastoral care.
