Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Newcastle primary school to appoint a dedicated Primary Maths Teacher for KS2 on a long-term, part-time basis. The role involves delivering engaging Maths lessons across KS2 with some planning and marking, five half-day sessions per week, and an immediate start.

You will hold QTS and a valid DBS (Update Service) and bring KS2 experience, strong Maths knowledge, and excellent classroom management to the school.

Qualifications

• QTS (ECTs welcomed).
• DBS registered on Update Service.
• Experience teaching KS2/KS2.
• Strong Maths subject knowledge.
• Ability to plan and mark.

Salary: £80 - £100 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a Primary School in Newcastle who are looking to appoint a Primary Maths Teacher. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and committed teacher who can provide engaging Maths lessons for pupils across Key Stage 2 / KS2.

The school is looking to take on a Primary Maths Teacher on a long-term, part-time basis, working 5 half days per week with an immediate start. The successful Primary Maths Teacher will be responsible for delivering Maths lessons across KS2, with some planning and marking responsibilities as part of the role.

The successful Primary Maths Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 / KS2
• Strong Maths subject knowledge
• The ability to undertake planning and marking responsibilities
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
