Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a Newcastle primary school that seeks a Primary Maths Teacher for a long-term, part-time position. The role focuses on delivering engaging Maths lessons to KS2 pupils with some planning and marking responsibilities, starting immediately.

The successful candidate will hold QTS (ECTs welcomed), have a valid DBS due to Update Service, and demonstrate strong classroom management and communication skills. This is a PAYE role with competitive daily rates.

Qualifications

• Qualified Primary Maths Teacher with experience teaching pupils across KS2
• Strong maths subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly
• Experience planning and marking as part of the role
