Primary Mainstream Supply Teacher – Poole

Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver planned lessons effectively when the class teacher is unavailable.
• Maintain a well-managed, respectful, and focused classroom atmosphere.
• Assist students with their learning and address any questions or needs during lessons.
• Oversee both whole-class instruction and small group tasks across various subjects.
• Adjust seamlessly to the routines and expectations of different school settings.
• Communicate observations and pupil progress to the relevant staff or leadership team.

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and confidently.
• A flexible, professional, and positive approach to education.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Experience across different key stages is advantageous.
• Have an updated CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
