Job Title: Primary Mainstream Supply Teacher

Primary Mainstream Supply Teacher – Bournemouth

Are you a passionate and qualified teacher seeking flexibility and variety in your teaching career? GSL Education are currently recruiting for a Supply Teacher to work across a range of schools in Bournemouth. This is a great opportunity for Early Careers Teachers to gain more experience or for experienced teachers to have flexible work, which starts immediately.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, pre-set lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils’ learning and respond to any immediate needs.
• Supervise both whole-class and small-group activities across subjects.
• Adapt quickly to different school environments and expectations.
• Provide feedback on student progress to senior leadership or regular class teachers.

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Ability to manage a classroom effectively and confidently.
• A flexible, professional, and positive approach to education.
• Strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Experience across different key stages is advantageous.
• Have anupdated CV(covering thelast ten years barring any unexplained gaps) andan enhanced DBSregistered to theUpdate Service(or be willing to apply for one).
