Job summary

TeacherActive is working with a welcoming mainstream Primary School in Harrogate, seeking a Primary Learning Support Assistant. You will support teaching and learning across KS1/KS2, working closely with teachers to provide classroom support and promote positive learning outcomes.

The role offers day-to-day or long-term commitment from September in a collaborative, inclusive environment that encourages confidence and independence in pupils.

Qualifications

• Experience working within a UK Primary School.
• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive, proactive and flexible approach.
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

The school provides a supportive and inclusive environment where children are encouraged to develop confidence, independence and a love of learning, while staff work collaboratively to ensure every pupil reaches their full potential.

The school is looking to appoint a Primary Learning Support Assistant on either a day-to-day or long-term basis from September. The successful Primary Learning Support Assistant will support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, working closely with class teachers to provide classroom support, encourage pupil engagement and promote positive learning outcomes.

The successful Primary Learning Support Assistant will have:

• Experience working within a UK Primary School

• Experience supporting pupils in Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• A positive, proactive and flexible approach

• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff

• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
