Job summary

Protocol Education is recruiting caring and enthusiastic Primary School Learning Support Assistants to join welcoming primary schools from September. You will support children across EYFS to KS2, working one-to-one and in small groups to aid learning.

We offer weekly pay, flexible working opportunities and ongoing CPD, with a focus on creating a safe, inclusive learning environment and opportunities for long-term or permanent roles.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A passion for supporting children's education.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

About the Role

As a Primary School Learning Support Assistant, you will:

• Support pupils in EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2.
• Work one-to-one and with small groups to support learning.
• Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, and participation.
• Support pupils with additional learning or SEND needs where required.
• Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
