Job summary

Timbertree Academy in Cradley Heath is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join the team from November, in a one-form-entry primary setting. You will support learning under the class teacher, assist with pupil well-being and engage with families to build positive relationships.

The role requires a Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) plus GCSE Maths and English, and a willingness to develop through training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) with GCSE Maths and English.
• Working knowledge of the national curriculum to support learning.
• Ability to be a positive role model for pupils and work in a team.
• Willingness to develop skills through training opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Support learning under the direction of the class teacher.
• Assist with pupil wellbeing and behaviour support.
• Liaise with parents and carers to build positive relationships.
