Learning Support Assistant - Primary School

Do you have experience working with children but don't hold a formal Teaching Assistant qualification?

Aspire People are recruiting Learning Support Assistants for primary schools and are interested in candidates with transferable experience from a range of child-focused backgrounds.

You could be a youth worker, tutor, sports coach, childcare professional, mentor, nursery practitioner, children's activity leader, or someone who has previously worked within a school without holding a TA qualification.

What matters is your experience working with children and your ability to build positive relationships and support their development.

The Role:
  • Supporting pupils within the classroom
  • Providing 1:1 and small-group support
  • Assisting with reading, writing, Maths, and classroom activities
  • Supporting pupils with SEND where required
