Senploy is recruiting for a Primary KS1 Support Assistant to join a community‑driven East London school with strong inclusion values and high‑quality teaching.

The role is full‑time, long‑term, starting ASAP, supporting KS1 pupils alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning experiences and maintain a calm, structured classroom environment with a focus on safeguarding and pupil progress.

Qualifications

• KS1 classroom experience is essential.
• Some SEN experience within a primary school setting.
• A degree is highly desirable, particularly in education or a related field.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Providing targeted support to KS1 pupils through small-group and 1:1 sessions
• Supporting children with mild to moderate SEN needs (ASD, ADHD, speech & language, SEMH)
• Assisting with lesson preparation, classroom organisation and behaviour routines
• Helping pupils develop early literacy, numeracy and independent learning skills
• Maintaining a calm, inclusive and engaging classroom environment
• Following safeguarding procedures and communicating effectively with staff and parents
