Are you an experienced and passionate Primary KS1 Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity to inspire young learners?

GSL Education are offering an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled Primary Key Stage 1 Teacher to join a well-established school in Rotherham. If you have a passion for nurturing young minds and fostering a positive, supportive learning environment, this could be the perfect role for you!

In this role, you will help children learn by planning fun and useful activities that match each child’s needs. You will work closely with the school's staff to create a positive, safe, and motivating learning environment. Your role will involve planning, preparing, and delivering a curriculum that encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lessons that meet the curriculum requirements and encourage active participation.
• Implement a range of teaching methods to ensure effective learning for all pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with pupils, fostering a safe and inclusive environment where they can thrive.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to both pupils and parents.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively, creating a focused, respectful learning environment.
• Contribute to the development of the school’s educational strategies, ensuring the holistic development of pupils.
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the overall success of the school through team-based efforts.
• Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and school events as required to stay up-to-date with best practices and school policies.

Ideal Candidate will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Proven experience of teaching within Key Stage 1, ideally with experience in planning and delivering lessons.
• A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum, with the ability to differentiate to meet the needs of all learners.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
• The ability to motivate and inspire young children to reach their full potential.
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
