Job summary

Waterside Primary School in Stoke-on-Trent is seeking an enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our welcoming primary school, supporting teaching and learning across the school and working closely with teachers and staff.

We are looking for someone with HLTA/TA experience in a primary setting, a Level 4 qualification or equivalent, and excellent communication and teamwork skills to help every child succeed and thrive in our inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or HLTA in a primary school.
• Level 4 qualification or equivalent.
• High expectations for themselves and the children they work with.

Responsibilities

• Lead learning activities and deliver lessons where appropriate.
• Provide targeted support to pupils to help them achieve.
• Support teaching and learning across the school with the team.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
