SANZA Teaching Agency is excited to partner with a leading primary school in Westminster to recruit an exceptional Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) for a September start. The role offers a dynamic mix of delivering pre-planned lessons, supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH, and working closely with teachers and the SENCO.

Qualifications

• HLTA status or substantial HLTA experience in a UK primary school.
• Significant experience supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH.
• Experience delivering high-quality lessons and managing whole classes.
• Strong behaviour management and nurturing approach.
• Excellent communication and teamwork, proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
• Deliver small group and one-to-one interventions.
• Support pupils with SEND and SEMH needs inside and outside the classroom.
• Work with teachers, the SENCO and external professionals to implement support plans.
• Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
• Create an inclusive learning environment.
