Zest Education is recruiting a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a welcoming primary school in Burton upon Trent on a full-time basis. The role involves delivering pre-planned lessons during teacher absences, with no planning or resource creation required, allowing you to focus on classroom delivery and pupil learning.

The ideal candidate will have HLTA status or significant classroom cover experience, with experience in a primary school setting, and the ability to deliver lessons

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons during teacher absences across the school.
• Provide class cover across the school on a full-time basis.
• No planning, preparation or resource creation required; focus on delivery.
• Maintain a positive and engaging learning environment for pupils.
• Support pupil progress and wellbeing.
• Work closely with teaching and leadership staff.
