Job summary

The Graduate Network is seeking a creative graduate for a Primary Graduate Teaching Assistant role in a central Wolverhampton primary school. You will support KS2 pupils through 1:1 work, small-group activities and general classroom duties, helping pupils stay focused and build confidence across the curriculum.

You will assist the class teacher with lesson preparation, classroom organisation and daily pupil engagement, gaining valuable experience before progressing into teaching or education.

Qualifications

• 2:2 degree or above in a creative subject.
• Enhanced DBS – must hold or be willing to obtain an Enhanced DBS certificate.
• Strong communication skills and a patient, positive approach.
• Ability to work with pupils, teachers and support staff.

The Role

You will also support the class teacher with lesson preparation, classroom organisation and day-to-day pupil engagement.

This role will suit a creative, reliable graduate who is keen to gain primary school experience before progressing into teaching or education. You should be confident working with children, able to explain ideas clearly and willing to support pupils with different learning needs.
