Job Role
Your role will include supporting the class teacher in delivering activities, delivering booster sessions to small groups of children and leading reading sessions on a 1-2-1 basis. As a graduate teaching assistant, you will play a key part in boosting attainment and supporting children with additional learning needs.
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate who is considering a career in teaching. Excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to build relationships is essential for this role. A passion for academic development and an interest in education is key for a successful graduate teaching assistant. Previous experience working with children is desirable however not essential.
