Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant – Manchester SEND School
Are you a recent psychology graduate eager to apply your knowledge in a meaningful and rewarding role? This Ofsted “Good” SEND school in Manchester is looking for a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to support children with additional needs on a 1-2-1 and small group basis. This role is ideal for a Psychology Graduate who is considering a career in educational or clinical psychology.

*** £90 - £100 Per day
*** September 2025 until July 2026
*** Specialist SEND School, Manchester
*** Supporting pupils with additional needs across Key Stages 3 and 4

The Role
This role involves working alongside experienced SEN staff and therapists to support students with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties. You’ll be providing tailored interventions, promoting social and emotional development, and contributing to a positive, structured learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a psychology graduate looking to pursue a career in educational psychology, mental health, or teaching.

The Candidate
We’re looking for a psychology graduate with a genuine interest in working with young people who have special educational needs. Patience, resilience, and strong communication skills are essential. Experience supporting children or vulnerable groups is advantageous, though full training will be provided.
