Job summary

Envision Education in High Wycombe is seeking a dedicated Classroom Teaching Assistant for an immediate start at a welcoming primary school. This full-time position runs Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm, to support learning and development and assist the class teacher in delivering inclusive lessons.

Qualifications

• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday, 8:30am–4:00pm.
• Recent experience working with children in a school, nursery, childcare or similar setting.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to commute to or work within the High Wycombe area.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom with learning and development.
• Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
• Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Assist pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs.
• Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour.
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils throughout the school day.
