Job summary

Castle Education is seeking a committed Primary Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in the Kirkbymoorside area.

You’ll support the class teacher with daily learning activities, encourage children to participate and help pupils build the confidence to tackle new challenges. The role covers KS1 and KS2 in a supportive school setting.

Qualifications

• Previous experience with children is desirable.
• Friendly, patient and supportive approach.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• The ability to follow guidance and adapt to pupils’ needs.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s education.

Responsibilities

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to help create a positive and engaging classroom experience for primary-aged pupils. Working across KS1 and KS2, you’ll be an important part of the school team, helping children feel settled, included and ready to learn.
