Job summary

Castle Education is working with a welcoming primary school in York who are looking for a motivated and caring Primary Teaching Assistant to join their team for a long-term placement.

You’ll support pupils across KS1 and KS2, assist teachers with activities and resources, and help create a positive learning environment where children can grow confidence and reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is beneficial.
• A patient, approachable and encouraging attitude.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Confidence adapting to different classroom situations and pupil needs.
• A genuine interest in helping children achieve their best.
• Reliability, enthusiasm and a willingness to get involved.

Responsibilities
