Long-Term Teachers are working with fantastic mainstream and SEND schools, and we are looking for more qualified primary school teachers to support these local schools.

We seek a caring, dedicated, qualified teacher who can build trusting relationships with students, parents, and colleagues. It is essential that you have at least 2 years of experience teaching in the UK. You will be planning and delivering sessions for students in Key Stage 2, so previous experience teaching this key stage is desirable.

Essential prior to application:

• Qualified Teacher Status
• Experience teaching across the primary phase
• Proven classroom teaching experience
• Experience setting targets, monitoring, assessment, and performance evaluation to raise pupil achievement
• Ability to work well within a team
• Understanding of SEND and support strategies

Key responsibilities:

• Set and evaluate individual termly targets; maintain achievement records for CYP in consultation with colleagues
• Provide reports and assessments for CYP according to school policy, including detailed reports before annual reviews
• Maintain effective communication with parents/carers about their child's welfare, progress, and participation
• Ensure safeguarding of all pupils by following Education Provisions (EP) safeguarding policies, reporting concerns, and recording information on the EP safeguarding system
