Qualifications

We are looking for a caring, dedicated, qualified teacher who can build trusting relationships with students, parents, and peers. It is essential that you have at least 2 years of experience teaching in the UK. You will be planning and delivering sessions for students in Key Stage 2, so prior experience teaching this key stage is desirable. The school seeks someone who is proactive, committed, and resilient. If that sounds like you or someone you know, we want to hear from you!

Essential Requirements:
  • Qualified Teacher Status
  • Experience teaching across the primary phase
  • Experienced classroom teacher
  • Experience setting targets, monitoring, assessment, and performance to raise pupil achievement
  • Ability to work well within a team
  • Understanding of SEND and support strategies
Key Responsibilities:
  • Set and evaluate individual termly targets; maintain achievement records for children and young people (CYP) in consultation with colleagues
  • Provide reports and assessments for CYP according to school policy for various audiences, including detailed reports before annual reviews
  • Maintain effective communication with parents/carers regarding their child's welfare, progress, and participation
  • Ensure safeguarding of all pupils by adhering to Education Provisions (EP) safeguarding policies, reporting concerns, and recording information on the EP safeguarding system
