Qualifications

• Accredited diploma level nursing training and ongoing professional development.
• Registered Nurse with NMC 1st level registration.
• Recent experience as a Registered Nurse in primary care, community or acute settings.
• Experience using protocols and clinical guidelines.
• Experience collecting data and coordinating clinical documentation.
• Ability to support and supervise research procedures in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate a defined group of concurrent research studies from set-up to archiving.
• Meet recruitment targets safely and ethically.
• Recruit, educate and monitor patients in studies.
• Collect and document accurate research data.
• Carry out clinical procedures within research studies.
• Deliver nursing services in a primary care research setting.
