The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to join our Research Team. You will assist with recruitment and co-ordination of patients in complex studies, and oversee day‑to‑day running of epidemiology and treatment trials.

Applicants should have experience in clinical research or a real passion for research, be flexible, hardworking, and a proactive team player focused on patient‑centred care.

Qualificações

• Registered Adult nurse with current NMC pin or AHP registration equivalent.
• Evidence of continuous personal, professional and academic development.
• Communication skills training.
• Significant post-registration clinical experience in relevant clinical areas.
• Ability to demonstrate a sound knowledge and understanding of clinical research in practice.
• Knowledge and experience of handling complex relationships.
• Experience of collaborating with other agencies.

Responsabilidades

• identify patients through screening of notes/histologies/MDTs;
• participate in informed consent process; co-ordinating patient's treatment and follow-up; supporting and monitoring patients;
• collect data and data entry.
