Qualifications

• Ability to support and supervise research procedures in patient care.

This post sits in the Clinical Trials Research Unit at Lakeside Healthcare Group's Corby headquarters, which runs research across a large multi-site general practice organisation. What the job involves

• Manage, co-ordinate and facilitate a defined group of concurrent research studies, from set-up to archiving
• Meet agreed patient recruitment targets safely
• Recruit, educate and monitor patients taking part in research studies through direct patient contact
• Collect and document accurate research data
• Carry out clinical procedures within research studies
• Deliver safe, high quality research nursing services in a primary care setting
• Deliver health care interventions and care as defined by study parameters and directed by the Director of Research
• Support service development and the safe delivery and implementation of policy and procedures
• Demonstrate professional nursing standards, advocacy and performance
