Job summary

Tasc Primary Care Network is seeking an additional registered Pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team. The successful candidate will work within the PCN and Practice teams to support clinical and administrative services, with full training and ongoing support provided.

You will engage with patients, carers and health and social care professionals to optimise medicines use, conduct medicines management tasks, and contribute to medicines optimisation and patient safety initiatives across

Qualifications

• Registered with the GPhC as a Pharmacy Technician.
• Enrolled on or committed to the APTUK/PCPA National Competency Framework pathway.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly and empathetically.

Responsibilities

• Undertake patient-facing roles to support medicines use and patient safety.
• Process clinical patient correspondence and ensure required procedures are completed.
• Conduct medicines optimisation tasks including reviews, reconciliation and synchronisation.
• Promote safe medicine use within prescribing systems and NHS digital tools.
• Support medicines optimisation schemes and public health initiatives across PCN and practices.
• Develop relationships with pharmacy staff and multi-disciplinary teams to integrate the pharmacy function.
• Support implementation of prescribing policies and QA statements.
• Manage storage and handling of prescribed items and stock.
