Burlington Primary Care is seeking a primary care paramedic or emergency care practitioner to join its general practice team. The role concentrates on clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment in the practice and in patients' homes, with GP mentor lead.

Hours are full or part-time by agreement, within a 7.00am–6.30pm weekday window. Current HCPC registration is required, and visa sponsorship is considered.

Competenze

• Current HCPC registration as a paramedic.
• Post-registration experience, ideally some in primary care.
• Recent ambulance, emergency or prehospital care experience.
• Primary care and community knowledge, including pathways and community services.
• Strong assessment and clinical decision-making skills.

Mansioni

• Undertake clinical assessments, diagnostics and treatment in the practice or at patients' homes.
• Manage chronic disease.
• Interpret findings to relate them to possible diagnoses and priorities.
• Support triage and prioritisation, including emergencies.
• Provide paramedic leadership and quality improvement within the team.
• Integrate the practice with community services to improve access and workload.
