Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Healthcare Assistant to support regional GP clinics across Schoolhill. The role blends routine clinical tasks with patient-facing procedures and general clinic support within busy primary care settings.

You will perform observations, assist with clinical tasks and help run the clinic smoothly. Experience in GP, community or NHS settings is preferred; enhanced DBS is required, with phlebotomy knowledge considered a bonus.

Qualifications

• Healthcare Assistant experience in GP, community or NHS settings.
• Confident in routine patient observations.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.
• Phlebotomy experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Conducting routine clinical observations.
• Supporting treatment room tasks and basic procedures.
• Performing ECGs and routine health checks.
• Assisting with phlebotomy where trained.
