Job summary

NHS Highland is seeking an enthusiastic clinical pharmacist to develop and deliver the pharmacotherapy service in General Practice. The role focuses on delivering patient care through telephone and face-to-face consultations, within GP surgeries in your locality.

The post offers full-time, permanent 36 hours and supports Independent Prescriber training and the General Practice Clinical Pharmacist Framework. A driving license and access to a car are essential for travel between locations.

Qualifications

• Good communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Willingness to travel to multiple locations and hold a current driving license.
• Independent Prescriber training would be supported if not already achieved.
• Encouraged to complete the General Practice Clinical Pharmacist Framework.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver the pharmacotherapy service in General Practice.
• Provide patient care via telephone and face-to-face consultations.
• Work with patients and a multidisciplinary team in GP surgeries.
• Travelling between locations is required and a car is essential for work.
