Job summary

NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a motivated clinical pharmacist to develop and deliver the pharmacotherapy service in General Practice. You will work to provide patient care via telephone and face-to-face consultations, integrated with the multidisciplinary team across GP surgeries in your locality.

The role supports Independent Prescriber training and continued professional development, with supervision and protected learning time.

Qualifications

• Good communication, organisational and IT skills.
• Independent Prescriber training would be supported if not already achieved.
• Willingness to travel to a number of locations and hold a full, current driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the pharmacotherapy service in General Practice.
• Provide patient care through telephone and face-to-face consultations.
• Work with GP surgeries in your locality as part of the multidisciplinary team.
