Job summary

Marshmallow, London (hybrid, 2-3 days in office), is seeking a Pricing Data Scientist to join the Pricing Team. You will develop pricing insights from rich data, own strategic pricing initiatives, and model claims using SQL and Python to drive high-frequency rate changes.

You will collaborate with engineers and ML engineers to deploy models via APIs for real-time pricing and explore external data sources to refine risk assessments and value.

Qualifications

• Develop pricing insights from quote, policy and claims data to improve pricing.
• Own strategic pricing initiative (expansion plans or protecting renewing customers).
• Conduct claims analysis and modelling using SQL and Python.
• Conduct price optimisation analysis/modelling using Python.
• Build and deploy models in APIs for real-time pricing.
• Identify external data sources to refine claims risk and quantify value.

Responsibilities

• Work with Engineering & MLENG to implement pricing proposals.
• Provide pricing support for the launch of multiple new products.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to push pricing projects.
