Finlay Jude Associates is seeking a Pricing Coordinator for a client in the Bury area. The role involves developing competitive pricing strategies and delivering accurate pricing for all products while collaborating with manufacturers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical skills with keen eye for data.
• Advanced Excel skills with knowledge of Power BI and SQL.
• Accuracy with data; data modelling experience is a plus.

• Experience creating / managing / analysing pricing structures.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pricing proposals for assigned clients using advanced Excel (V Lookups, Pivots).
• Provide analysis and support for clients and other areas of the business.
• Analyse profitability of products and schemes to ensure margins meet targets.
• Manage discount terms to minimise financial risk.
• Liaise with client contacts to agree pricing and handle issues or queries.
• Provide pricing overviews to internal departments.
• Collaborate with pricing coordinators and pricing manager to cross-check work.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies with internal teams and clients.
• Assist with ad-hoc client data requests.
• Create bespoke pricing lists and maintain pricing information library.
• Support the team with ad-hoc queries to meet deadlines.
• Proactively look for smarter ways of working and track market movements.

Job Overview

Finlay Jude Recruitment are looking to recruit a Pricing Coordinator on behalf of our client based in the Bury area. In this role, you will be responsible for developing competitive pricing strategies while collaborating with manufacturers and internal teams. You will play an essential role in delivering accurate pricing for all products whilst meeting company and client expectations.

Package

• Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (35 hours per week)
• Salary up to £31,500

Responsibilities

• Prepare pricing proposals for your assigned clients - this involves daily use of advanced Excel (V Lookups, Pivots etc)
• Provide analysis and support for clients and other areas of the business
• Analyse the profitability of company products and schemes, ensuring the price points meet the required margins
• Management of discount terms to ensure accurate pricing and minimise financial risk
• Liaise with client key points of contact to agree pricing and handle any issues or queries
• Provide pricing overviews to internal departments
• Working closely with the other Pricing Coordinators and the Pricing Manager to cross-check each other's work.
• Resolve pricing discrepancies, liaising with internal departments and the client for a solution.
• Assist with any ad-hoc client data requests from clients or colleagues
• Create bespoke pricing lists for key client groups and maintain the library of pricing information booklets.
• Provide support to the team assisting with ad-hoc queries to ensure client deadlines are on target.
• Proactively look to provide smarter ways of working and generating ideas on business best practice.
• Analyse and track market movements and trends

Requirements

• Strong numerical skills - a keen eye for numbers is a must!
• Advanced Excel skills - knowledge of Power BI / SQL would be a huge advantage
• Accuracy with data - any previous experience with data modelling would be a plus!
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic and be a team player
• Previous experience of creating / managing / analysing Pricing structures would be a huge advantage
